Welcome to CHANG lab at HKUST!

We are an interdisciplinary research group that focuses on the interface of RNA biology and chemistry.  We aim to utilize novel optochemcial genetics, along with molecular biology and bioengineering, to reprogram and investigate RNA processing under disease models, design and develop inhibitors to target aberrant RNA processing for therapeutical applications.
